Can I order multiple copies?

Yes! You can increase your pledge using “Manage My Pledge.” The total shipping will be calculated in the pledge manager.

Will we be able to add on other Inside Up Games products in the pledge manager?

How do I use the pledge manager?

Backerkit is very intuitive and easy to use. A few weeks after the Kickstarter closes, you will receive an email from Backerkit. Just click the link and follow the instructions from there.

Will there be any Stretch Goals?

No. Everything is included, unlocked, and deluxified! This is because we know the quality of the product you will be receiving and hopefully a good turnaround between funding and fulfillment.

Please Note: The Kickstarter campaign did not feature stretch goals, however, backers of the original Kickstarter campaign were given a “Kickstarter Goodies” pack as a thank-you for supporting our crowdfunding campaign. The Kickstarter Goodies Pack was made available to late pledgers through Backerkit, but as a paid add-on.

Is COVID going to affect delivery?

The pandemic we are all currently facing is definitely impacting various components of the fulfillment process. This means that there is a potential for delays and adjustments that we are not able to predict. We have planned for some delays and will keep you updated as we learn more about any timeline changes.

Can you please give more details on the shipping?

We have subsidized some of the shipping costs and have tried to provide some discounts in order to help reduce overall costs. We have worked with our freight/fulfillment team to try and keep shipping costs as low as possible, and as is the case with manufacturing, the more we ship (at once) the cheaper per unit it becomes. We have chosen to pass those savings on to you if you decide to get multiple copies! (Additional items added to your pledge in the pledge manager may increase your total shipping incrementally due to total weight/size.)

Is there local pick up for backers from Thunder Bay?

Yes there will be local pick up, however at this time we cannot guarantee any discount to the shipping price as we don’t stock enough items in town and there is a substantial cost to bring items up.

Can I pledge less than the value of the game and still get access to the pledge manager?

Inside Up Games is subsidizing game and shipping prices for our backers who pledge for a game during the Kickstarter. If you pledge for less than the value of one game, you will receive access to the pledge manager, but at post-campaign pricing.

Will the box accommodate card sleeves?

Yes, the game as a standard card cardboard insert which will fit sleeved and naked cards. The wooden insert (which is an add-on) will also fit sleeved and naked cards.

As a retailer, can I support this campaign?

Yes. If you are a brick and mortar retail store please pledge for one copy of the game, and then increase your pledge to $130 CAD (~$100 USD). This amount will go towards your order, which will only be invoiced once the games are ready to ship. (See “Brick and mortar stores” at the bottom of the campaign page for more details.)

Will Earth be available in any other languages?

At launch, Earth will be offered in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Polish and Korean. If you are interested in other languages please ask your preferred publisher to reach out to us at info(at)insideupgames.com for localization details.

What size are the cards?

All cards are 57x88mm - standard bridge size - as players can have a lot 15+ cards in hand.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
